CLICHE STRATEGIES ARE NO FUN

Here's a few riskfree, robust but definitely nofun strategies for club players like me;
  • Don't change the direction of the ball. Be like a mirror and kill your opponent out of boredom.
  • Send the ball deep. Be a moon-baller, everybody will like you.
  • Don't execute steep angle hits. Always send the ball back in, no matter how slow the shot is...
  • Don't try to mess with physics or geometry or your own abilities (or inabilities for that matter). Always
  • Play high percentage tennis, never take risks
  • When you are unbalanced, try lobs. Big, ultra-high never dropping lobs.
I should follow them in order to improve my game and keep motivation by getting some more points, however, they are hard to follow emotionally. Moreover, they will increase the bore level of my already somewhat dull life. Pfff.
